Clean energy and climate legislation will stimulate job creation in Florida. Congress has the opportunity to move forward with policies that strengthen our economy, create new jobs, and make America a global leader for the 21st century. By limiting carbon emissions to combat climate change, Congress will unlock investments in clean energy innovations and drive consumers – and jobs – to companies that are selling and servicing energy efficient technologies and renewable energy systems.

Federal policy creates the certainty that businesses need to plan for the future. A federal climate bill will create clear incentives, and establish regulatory guidelines, creating the market signal to spur billions in investment capital. Passing a federal climate bill will unleash our world-famous innovative entrepreneurs, and enable our state to help lead the clean energy technology revolution.
